Our Vision

Transboundary marine biodiversity knowledge and action supporting a healthy and resilient Northeast Pacific ocean and sustainable cities and communities.

Our Mission

Improved transboundary marine biodiversity science and stewardship, for action-oriented conservation and management throughout the connected waters of British Columbia and Washington.

Our Goals

CONVENE 

an engaged network of ocean practitioners on both sides of the border with expertise in and knowledge of marine biodiversity (a ‘network of networks’).

ENABLE

and encourage openly accessible and discoverable marine biodiversity data and resources.

CREATE

space to share information and knowledge related to marine biodiversity.

IDENTIFY

opportunities to mobilize information and knowledge towards action through co-design and co-development.

ENGAGE

and inspire the public to learn about and steward their local ocean.
